Fading Forests is a series of works on paper and paintings executed in mixed media incorporating organic materials focused on abstractions of nature.

The series is a meditation on the fragility of the natural world and is a commentary on the effects of global warming and human’s negative impact and destruction of various ecosystems. Brimming with pathos, the series reflects the artist’s personal anxiety and to a certain extent, mirrors the anxiety of many in the face of this current and ongoing phenomena.

Fading Forests will be on view December 12, 2017- January 21, 2018 at SCPS Gallery, Pratt Manhattan Center, 144 West 14thStreet, New York, NY 10011, Between 6th and 7th Avenues. Gallery Hours: Monday- Friday, 10 am-6pm; Saturday and Sunday, 11am-5pm.
